To the most of the code I have wrote, I don't ever maintain nor release IBOutlet. I just believe they will be designated and deallocated with the item itself along with the nib that contains them.

How do you check that memory usage raises? I see ObjectAlloc tool on your screenshots, and if I use that for the project provided, it raises for both.
